Spring Recital 2024
Come and listen to the CMC chamber groups playing what they have been practising for the past couple of months!
When? Saturday, April 13, at 2:30 PM & 6 PM.
Where? St. George’s Anglican Church , located at 1001 Av. des Canadiens-de-Montréal, Montréal, QC H3B 3B3
Admission? FREE, but donations are always appreciated.
Membership requirement? None; you don’t need to be a CMC member to attend the recital.
Performance Groups
Each year, the CMC auditions eager musician students to form chamber ensembles. The 8-12 groups range from duets to quintets and involve a wide variety of instruments including piano, violin, clarinet, and flute, just to name a few.
Throughout the school year, the CMC can provide practice times and spaces for chamber ensembles to practice.
At the end of each term, the CMC hosts a recital in which all chamber groups participate. This is a great opportunity to show friends and family the hard work musicians put in throughout the previous 4 months, and it’s also a fun way to meet other music enthusiasts within the McGill community.
Membership to the CMC is compulsory for all chamber musicians in order for us to offset the free cost of the recitals among other club events.
